Venise à Paris — ヴェネツィアからパリへ
2026年夏、パリで開催された個展《Intérieur Imaginaire》では、アール・デコや1960年代のデザイン、日本や異国の工芸から着想を得た、空想の室内空間が描かれました。
現実と夢の間を行き来するような空間への関心は、アーティスト自身の旅とともに、さらに広がりを見せています。
夏の休暇に訪れたヴェネツィアでは、歴史あるパラッツォの建築や彫刻に触れ、その構築的な美しさを改めて見つめる機会となりました。
パリへ戻ると、関心は幾何学的なアール・デコの造形から、アール・ヌーヴォーの有機的な曲線へと向かいます。
柔らかな色彩の中に描かれた白い鳥たち。
そこには、遠い昔から存在していたかのような、どこか懐かしい世界が広がります。
旅の中で出会った風景や造形が、アーティストの感性を通して新たな絵画へとつながっていく。その移ろいを、作品とともに感じていただけたらと思います。
11月21日は、アーティスト本人も在廊する特別な一日です。
普段はフランスで制作しているアーティストと、作品を前に直接お話しいただける機会となります。

Venise à Paris — From Venice to Paris
In the summer of 2026, Yukiko Noritake presented Intérieur Imaginaire, a solo exhibition in Paris featuring imagined interiors inspired by Art Deco, 1960s design, and craft traditions from Japan and around the world.
Her interest in spaces between reality and dreams continues to develop through her travels.
During a summer visit to Venice, the architecture and sculptures of its historic palazzi renewed her appreciation for the beauty of their forms and structures.
Back in Paris, her attention turned from the geometric forms of Art Deco to the organic curves of Art Nouveau.
White birds appear amid soft colours, evoking a world that feels both familiar and timeless.
Her travels continue to shape her paintings, offering a glimpse into the places and forms that inspire her work.
Yukiko Noritake will be at SASHIIRO on November 21, offering visitors an opportunity to meet the artist and talk with her while viewing the paintings.
